Welcome to Boro Bricks. We are situated in ‘The Exchange’ in the HillStreet Centre where members can rent out our Lego sets for a period of two-weeks.

We have a range of sets including Star Wars, Batman, Harry Potter and many many more!

Memberships run on a yearly basis and you can see our full membership scheme at the below. Please note that all members must be at least 18 years of age.

FAQs

Are the paper instructions included?

No, instead we will send you a link via email where the instructions can be downloaded, and you can read them from your computer or smart device.

Will the sets be ordered into their numbered bags?

Yes, they will though we cannot guarantee that pieces will not mistakenly end up in the wrong bag. If you think a piece is missing please do check the other bags first.

Will the sets be posted to me?

No, you will need to collect them from our unit at the Hillstreet Centre. If you live in Middlesbrough, we can arrange a collection for £1 which will come from your refundable deposit.  Otherwise, you can return the sets yourself and get your full deposit back.

What is a premium set?

Premium sets are Lego sets with a retail value of over £200, as such they’re only available to members who have borrowed 3 previous sets from us and returned them in good condition. 

What do I do if there are missing pieces in the set I have just received?

First check the other bags to make sure it has not mistakenly ended up in the wrong numbered bag. If you are quite sure it’s not there, please email us at borolegobricks@gmail.com and we’ll get replacement bricks sent to you.

How does membership work?

Someone in the household who is 18 or older pays £10 or £20 for a year’s membership. After that you pay a single rental fee for each set you borrow plus a refundable deposit.   

Are there restrictions on the sets I can borrow?

Premium sets are only available to members who have borrowed a set from us on at least 3 occasions. The other sets are available to borrow from the start of the membership term.

How long can I keep the set?

The minimum length of time you can borrow the set is 2 weeks, if you want to borrow It longer you can pay for an additional two weeks. The cost of an additional two weeks is half the original rental fee. For example, if you paid £4.00 to rent a set for two weeks, you would pay an additional £2.00 to rent for a further two weeks.

How secure is your payment system?

Subscriptions and payments are processed using Stripe. We have every confidence Stripe can keep your credit card and account details safe and secure. You can read more about Stripe’s security information here  https://stripe.com/docs/security

How do I cancel my membership?

Once you’ve bought your £10 or £20 membership you are a member of Boro Bricks for a year. If you don’t wish to continue as a member after a year, please contact us and we won’t renew your membership.
